The whole play was weird. The second base umpire appeared to call it foul live. I thought replay was pretty conclusive too.

Wow. That was the right call they made but what a bullshite rule. They need to change it. If a batter swings at a pitch and it hits them in their hand bc of them swinging and lands in fair territory and they gat thrown out, they should be out. That's got to be changed and is total bullshite.

Manieri continues to try to play small ball and bunt even though this team has failed to put down a bunt the majority of the times he calls for it. It's just Manieri's style. He makes bad decisions with the lineup, hit and runs (although the hit and run kept LSU out of a double play earlier), steals, bunts, etc. He's a failed tinkerer.

I think Coleman would have no problem throwing 80+ pitches. The threw in the 70s against Ole Miss and has thrown 50+ a couple other times. Pitchers are gonna get extended in the postseason if necessary. As long as he’s dealing, leave him in

There were two different calls. Home plate ump pointed to first, then 1B ump called an out. I don’t know what the official call being reviewed was.
