Bama has in Scarborough, or what Georgia has in Michel - but he might be the fifth best second string back in the SEC.

So who in your valued opinion are the other three if I give you the first two. I'm trying, but can't' think of who they are???

Williams is an exceptional back as well.

He’s an acceptable - not good - second string back. You guys are showing what idiots you are by putting Williams in the same sentence with Guice. He is not nearly that caliber back. He might not be drafted.

Really? I really glad to know that .06 YPC is what separates acceptable from what you want to quantify Guice as.

Darius Guice 188 carries 1026 yard 5.46 YPC. 54th NCAA
Darrell Williams 124 Carries 670 yards 5.40 YPC 58th NCAA

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re trolling, very effectively, I might add.

He has below average speed, decent vision, decent power - not good power. There is nothing exceptional about Williams’ ability.

He is the first LSU RB to have 100 yards rushing and receiving in a game in over 100+ years of LSU football, so he at least had an exceptional accomplishment. He has great hands as a WR coming out of the backfield and is basically averaging 13 yards per catch. Although I might not classify him as exceptional, he has had his best year this year and has been very good for LSU. Also, he had our longest run against Bama this century with that 50+ yarder. Fournette and Jeremy Hill didn't even have a 20+ yard run against Bama.

And for whoever said he might not get drafted, he is definitely getting drafted.

He honestly took a huge leap this year. IMO he has been a more consistent option than guice down the stretch.

Williams may be the most improved player on the team this year.

I have criticized some of the Seniors on this football team. Specifically Gilmore and Williams.

They have improved so much I dont give a shite who we were playing. They have played tough. They have played a lot of snaps. They don't quit, they don't back down.

Really proud of Darrel Williams and Greg Gilmore. They are LSU Tigers.

Couldn’t agree more OP. He will make a solid back in the league.

You are one dumb mother fricker. DW will play in the NFL and play well. He's not a quick smaller back like Guide, but he is ABSOLUTELY a necessity on a team that has to contend. He's bigger, can catch, can block, and can run with the ball. His versatility makes him a highly sought after commodity in the NFL, when rosters are trimmed to 53.
My guess is his NFL career will last longer than Guide.
If DW keeps his conditioning and gets where he can run a 4.6 or 4.7, he'll be a want for many teams.
Guide is a great rb with his own set of tools and will excel as well

I do not understand why they aren't in the backfield at the same time more often.

Very little against Bama or last week.
