LINK

Very excited and hoping the Tigers get to play at the "Love Shack". This is a great addition to Tech's campus and will be rocking tomorrow night. Link for little history about the new stadium.

And in March of 2020, construction officially began with the goal of having the new state-of-the-art facility ready in time for the 2021 season.

That goal became a reality on Feb. 26 when the Bulldogs opened the new “Love Shack” in style with a 9-2 victory over Southern. It was exactly 675 days since the last time LA Tech’s baseball team hosted a game on campus.

Fans were not allowed inside the stadium due to ongoing construction, but hundreds watched from beyond the left field wall to catch the action.

The above made me chuckle.
Interesting story, had forgotten about the tornado a few years back; glad they rebuilt quickly. Ruston is a fun town to visit from time to time, feels like Hometown, USA.

If this game is played, it will be a great atmosphere. I have a ticket and can’t wait.

Game has been sold out since the tickets became available. I can promise you that a chilly wind will not keep any Bulldog fans out of that stadium

It fits in nice on their campus. Wish LSU would have used a berm in the outfield for seating instead of our bleachers.

Yeah, I am sure it is a great park with new amenities, but the old one was pretty neat. They do look a whole lot alike in regard to general layout. I am glad there is excitement around the program for Tech. My daughter went there and got a great education.

Meanwhile Tiger Park for LSU softball can seat 2671 but has a record attendance of 3242 with berm seating.

Ok, can't wait to see how many are still there in the 7th inning. 42 deg & ~30% chance of rain

Their backstop, without a bright green Tony Chachere’s ad right behind home plate, provides a far more aesthetically pleasing viewing experience via television than Alex Box does.

They don’t want unsightly ads scattered everywhere.
