Seems like we produce top notch NFL athletes in every position except QB, so Who & When was the last time Louisiana had an elite high school QB?

Brandon Harris was the state's highest ranking QB ever.

Not elite coming out but he's an NFL starter. Who else from Lousiana besides Eli is an NFL starter?

You must’ve missed the word “elite”

As a state, we have produce a good deal of QBs. The probably is that they didn't sign with LSU. Mannings and Dak are 3 that come to mind. Arky has a starter from Lafayette. Hopefully this changes

Don't want the QB at Arkansas. Did you see him play?

Our freshman looked much better.

Yea I've seen him play. Actually numerous times. Just pointing out another QB from Louisiana who is elsewhere.

Oh, I didn't think he was all that good coming out of high schools. I thought you were pointing out successful ones.

Texas QBs are on the rise lately. Perrilloux was my favorite Louisiana prospect coming out high school in recent memory.

We don’t produce elite QBs aside from the Mannings because Louisiana football is still largely unorganized. We have tons of great athletes but our football strategy seems to be to give the fastest kid the ball as QB and let him run.

Our QBs are typically skinny, 5’7 kids with wheels. See Speedy Noil in HS.

We haven’t been able to sign the top Qbs we’ve had in State the last few year Example Shay Patterson The Wudtee kid from Parkway or Justin Rogers from Parkway last season I don’t think the coaches have good relationships with the high school coaches in North Louisiana
