So in such a far reaching issue for the every day business in the state of Louisiana you don’t understand why the attorney general might file a brief?

I watched the smu 30 for 30 last night. The idea that a school today would roll over and take it like that is laughable. Ain't no way on earth any school would even listen to the ncaa any more

No, I don't. It is not up to the AG to protect or interject itself into a matter like this just to protect economic interests of which these businesses have maybe tangential at best standing. I would not blame the governor getting involved, because this is big business with lots of lost revenue involved.

The only thing I see is that Murrill would have a vested interest in seeing that the legitimacy of a court order issued by a Louisiana judge stays legit unless overturned on appeal by a Louisiana appellate court. But whether a restaurant or hotel misses out on revenue is not and should not be her role in this game.

She really would do better to stay out of it for the time being....but it is only an Amicus Brief.....anyone can essentially file one with a few restrictions.

Garret Graves or JBE. Everyone is sick of Landry and his ilk.
