1979 USC was the loudest I remember followed by 97 Florida.

It’s been debated and discussed many times about the expansion and the stadium definitely changed.
I was at the 1988 AU game. My wife got sick just before the end of the game and had to go to the bathroom. When Hodson hit Fuller, it felt like the whole stadium was crashing on us.
I was still a young man in 1982 when we threw oranges on the field. That was one of my most memorable moments in that stadium.

The last play of the game vs Auburn in 95, the Bring Back the Magic Game, was the loudest I experienced in school. It was loud as hell during that last play, but when the pass was intercepted to finish off the game, TS found a gear I hadn’t heard before. I’m sure there have been louder moments and entire games, such as 97 UF, which happened after I was away at grad school, but 95 Auburn doesn’t get its due.
This game had the loudest single moment of any game I have ever been to (Class of ‘96, season ticket holder since ‘95). There have absolutely been louder games overall, but for one single moment in time, this has always been the loudest I can remember. My ears still rang the next day. And I was at both the UF and UT games when the field was stormed.

This for sure.

That Game is up there for sure. I had forgotten about it. Cedrick Donaldsons pick and TD return was ear ringing as well. The stadium was about 79-80000 or so then but was PACKED for that game.

After 6 straight losing seasons and the disaster at Auburn the year before, there was just so much pent up frustration released at that moment.

Auburn was on the wrong side of a lot of those which is nice to see.

1994 Southern Miss when Andre Lafleur missed a game-winning 50 yard FG. It was literally an earthquake game in its own right--the boos from the 54,000 there were DEAFENING!

03 Georgia, loudest day game I ever been to. I had a terrible headache post game from yelling so much all game. The fans willed the team to victory on that particular day.
This! After UGA scored on a long run, the stadium rallied the team and Mauk drove the offense down the field to win the game. Skyler Green catching the winning TD was the loudest, most intense moment of my life.

07’ Florida when Heater willed his way to a td. There was a slight pause because from the stands because it looked like he was stopped. When the gave the td signal it was deafening. Ole miss ‘14 was a very underrated loud game. When fournette threw the guy out of bounds I’ve never heard a louder OH from 100,000+. I brought a buddy from UGA to that game to prove Tiger stadium was louder than UGA. After that play he looked at me and said “ok you win”’.

1983 against Washington
That was pretty much the highlight reel of the 1983 season. LSU shoehorned a record crowd into Tiger Stadium that night and no doubt the energy from the crowd was responsible for a stellar effort that night, which unfortunately was not duplicated that season.

2019 Florida was epic. When we were pulling ahead 2nd half the “ohh wee ohh, you suck” chants were getting louder.
Mix in the reverse gator chomp and you had one rowdy crowd. Loved every minute of it.

Despite smaller stadium capacity, 1971 Notre Dame and 1982 Florida State have to be on the short list.

When Georgia scored, everyone had a single brief silent pause of disbelief during the play. Immediately afterward, the whole stadium erupted out in “LSU! LSU! LSU!” chant before they even lined up for the PAT. That was an incredible moment.

2007 Florida was like standing next to a jet-and we weren’t even leading yet.

Was an awesome, memorable moment. And it was really loud, as it should have been, but far from loudest. The throw was absolutely PERFECT!
