you dont fault Miles for never winning the Big 12??? frick, at least realize ur argument sucks
LE - you said PJ doesn't matter because making the ACCCG doesn't matter. The ACC sucks. That's when I brought up VT, Miami, and BC leaving the Big East before RR ever won it.
Then you say you couldn't expect WVU to win the Big East because VT, Miami and BC were there.
Newsflash: Those teams are all in the ACC now, and PJ is beating them. PJ>>>RR

Rodriguez is a bad fit at Mich. (obviously). He's a great coach. I think he'd be a great fit at LSU. But, there's no way LSU would hire him at this point. His system would work down here w/ the talent he'd have. At Mich., not so much.
i just fricking puked in my mouth. i cannot stand rich rodriquez. dude is a total pussy. he cries whenever he would lose big games at west virginia.. then he just left his team when they weren't able to get to big dance. dude hangs his hang down after a loss.. i don't want any part of a guy with that kind of character. i'll take even miles over rich rod ALL DAY long.

What about Bob Toledo from Tulane? An up and comer with a pretty good pedigree. He could be had.

No, I think a guy is a bad coach when he takes over Michigan - the winningest program in football history - that beat Florida in a bowl game in the final game before he got there - and goes 3-9.
you clearly don't understand what it takes for a coach to implement his own system and values.
Michigan players were whining cause RR worked them too hard. Yeah, im sure the team morale and work ethic were in a good place when Llyod Carr left.
you just dont understand. I cant help you. sorry

Running Ryan Mallet off not to smart either.
Or that Boren kid, the offensive lineman that's now Ohio State's best offensive lineman this year. He came from a Michigan family - everybody played there - and he left shortly after RR arrived and made some pretty disparaging comments about RR on the way out. Sat out a year and went to UM's arch rival on his own nickel to get away from RR.

Miles to Michigan would be the best case scenario for both schools.
He belongs in the Big Ten and would be a good coach there. His style is all Big 10. It doesnt take a genious to realize that he has no clue how to coach up the type of athletes the SEC is loaded with. His line it up and pound it up the middle is perfect for Michigan and the other big house.

Surely you jest. He was fired from UCLA.

Miami 2001-02 isnt comparable to what they are now.
and Miami beat GA Tech pretty well this year.
VA Tech beat Ga Tech last year

no, i said he doesnt matter because he runs the option.
and they are having a good season this year because the ACC is down.
dont see whats so hard to understand.
beating FSU and Miami isnt a very good argument or accomplishment lately if u havent noticed

I understand wins and losses. Your argument is what Matt Millen used for 7 years as the GM at the Detroit Lions. Or Charlie Weis at ND.
Nick Saban never went 3-9 and 5-5. Not at Michigan State, not LSU, not Bama. Neither did Les Miles at Oklahoma State. Not Pete Carrol at USC. Not Jim Tressel. Not Bob Stoops.
Can you name a coach that went 3-9, 5-5 in his first two years...after taking over a team that went to about 20 straight bowls...and was a big success?

Can you imagine what Leach at Texas Tech could do with the weapons he could recruit at LSU...

I still think Toledo's the man for the job.

yes sir..
I like the guy as a person, but I dont think he belongs here...and RR wouldnt be our next coach, We hired the same search firm that hired Saban, When Miles was hired it was between Miles and Garry Patterson at TCU, with what he has done at TCU the last 5 years is amazing, and he is a defensive minded diciplinarian like Saban..

Actually, this is what you said:

and the ACC is a horrible conference. playing in the ACCCG isnt a big deal
Ahhh well I've had enough fun for one night, guess the devil got in me a little tonight.
I'll keep the sig quote for a couple of years unless you want me to take it down. Nothing personal...you just remind me of Notre Dame fans arguing how good Charlie Weis really is.
Maybe I'm wrong about RR. But I don't think so.
We'll find out over the next few years.
