Regarding Pimpton, he showed his arse against USC at a critical moment and I assume he never gave the coaches any reason to try him again. Right after the stop and Burns being at idiot with about 7 minutes to go we get to a third and short. The put this idiot in and he didnt block anybody while his man went down the line and stopped us short. We punt, USC wins and Big Pimple was on his arse for most of the remaining games. He was given a shot and proved himself to be a pussy

Got it. So Pimpton misses a block on one play and he is garbage. You don't watch much football do you? I suppose when Campbell allowed Nussmeier to be hurt because the RDE destroyed his attempt on a block in the OU game, Campbell should be sat on the bench and given up on. Geez, some of you people. I haven't seen enough of Pimpton BLOCKING to know how good or bad or is, but I like his receiving skills so he is a loss...that can be recovered from BTW. At no time did I say he was irreplaceable.
