Thank you! The only thing that caught his attention the day before he died was when I tried to talk to him about LSU and the 2019 season. He bled purple and gold through and through.

You sound like me. My dad passed two years ago although we hardly went to the games. I would never miss a trip going to his house watching it with him. He would have loved this NC team... anyone that tells you time heals all wounds, don’t believe that. Damn I miss him

Lost my dad when I was 14. He got me hooked on the Tigers. Sorry for your loss. These words have helped me through many personal losses:

The departed, whom we now remember, have entered into the peace of life eternal. They still live on earth in the acts of goodness they performed and in the hearts of those who cherish their memory. May the beauty of their life abide among us as a loving benediction.

I don’t see how I’ll ever not think about him. It’s only been a day but every time I see his name in my cell phone quick dial I lose it.

Buddy, I would call my dads home phone just to hear his voice on the message. I would like to tell you it gets easier, but it is gonna take a long while. Pulling for you.

I'm very sorry for the loss of your father. I work in healthcare and the consequences of this shutdown by way of unavailable or inaccessible care for non-covid issues will be very real.

May the lord bless you and your family with wonderful memories of a great tiger fan.

My mom passed away shortly after Katrina.

She was unable to receive proper health care.

My dad joined my mom shortly after her passing.

The unintended or intended consequences of all this makes me sad and angry.

I am very sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself.

I’m very angry, this all could have been avoided for my family and I am sure a lot of families out there.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Losing a dad is one of the hardest things a man will ever face in his lifetime. I know the heavy weight that it places on the heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
