Lola from Indy will be a force next season. She is 6'2" and athletic. Koval should improve as she improved during the season this year.

I seriously doubt that any of our players goes Portal to leave. I guess Bourrage could but Divine is not gonna get bigger $$$ anywhere else.

I watched Samah Smith play 4-5 times this season at UVA. She was neither a good scorer nor an effective rebounder and turned the ball over in crucial moments all too muck

How do you know she’s the real deal?

Have you seen her play? I have only seen clips, but I know someone very familiar with her, and they rave about her.

Del Rosario was highly rated too as the #7 player in the country.

Different body types, I think Koval is a better comparison to Bradley.

They play very similarly.

Do they? I honestly don't know how Del Rsario played in HS and only have a cursory knowledge of Bradley.

Z will be playing the 3 next year. I would use her there and use her at the 4 when necessary or going small.

With the current roster returning (only Yarnevich transferring), I'd think next year's lineup looks like this.

PG- Jada Richard
Wing- Mikayla Williams
Wing- Zakiyah Johnson (if Fulwiley accepts 6th man role again)
4- Grace Knox
5- Kate Koval

Bench:

PG- Fulwiley
Wing- Bella Hines
Wing- Fulwiley, Bourrage, $$$
4- Lola Lampley, $$$
5- $$$

Biggest portal needs? I'd think:

(1) A true 5 who is actually really good and can stand up to the other 5s at the elite schools in the country;

(2) Another solid 4 or 5;

(3) A combo guard who can shoot lights out and actually play some point for depth behind Richard and Fulwiley. Need another good 3-point shooter who can create to replace Flau-jae.

Your thoughts?

She won't and shouldn't. Arguably the best player on the team this year and a guard spot opening up, she's not coming off the bench again.

. She wouldn’t have helped except for depth.

What? She had two 20-point double doubles in the 2nd round of the 2nd round of the tourney/Sweet 16 last year and led the team in blocks. And made the All-SEC Freshman team before getting hurt in her 2nd season. She was a good defensive player, rebounder and shooter in big games.

Williams and Johnson going into hiding didn't help

Williams scored 22 points and had 5 rebounds, went 9-9 at the free throw line and nailed both free throws with seconds left to give LSU the lead. She started off a little rough, but was the other large part of LSU's offense last night.

She had 2 pts in the first 4 game and 3 against Iowa. Smith averaged 8 and 7 on the year. She's very up and down as well. If she would've stayed she would've been in Joiner's role in the rotation and the main difference would've been less crashouts.

She also had double digit rebounds against Iowa (something LSU desperately could have used last night) and scored 23 with 11 rebounds in their OT win against UGA in the first round of the tourney. And Virginia doesn't have as much talent surrounding her as LSU would have.

UVA definitely has less talent so you would've expected her to have a bigger role and for her numbers to take a leap. She basically stayed a good role player, who can occasionally explode, playing in a worse rotation.

Why are you on this WBB board if you don't give a crap about WBB? Why did you comment on WBB? You are a troll, a negative person seeking attention to feed your ego. If you hate WBB so much, there are plenty of other sports.

Really liked Samaya Smith, she was just beginning to find her stride after her injury. I don’t know if she’s much better than Joiner or Koval though
