At the risk of sounding too “copy/paste,” I think it’s pathetic that so-called LSU fans want to talk up another coach and another program that has nothing to do with us, just because they still can’t get over him not being our coach anymore. And I totally get wishing he was still our coach. I’m sure things would be going better for LSU basketball right now if he were.
But it’s over. Done. He’s never coming back. So why still pine over him? It used to be said to make fun of people: “Go find another team, then!” Well I’ll be damned if the Wade cult went and actually did it. This doesn’t all of a sudden make that any less pathetic.
Y’all are like the one guy in a group of friends out drinking that always talks about his ex and kills the vibe.
When does the crying over Wade end?

People would’ve gotten over it if we had made a good hire. McMahon didn’t only equal the worst conf record in program history he also tied the record for consecutive losses, wasn’t competitive at all and now this season it’s looking worse. Then you got the ruling which as many predicted was nothing and nowhere near enough to justify firing him. So it’s not as cut and dry as some make it out to be and Wade is just one part of a larger frustration that dates back to before him.

Most of em don’t even watch or like basketball. Some of them have hated Wade from the jump because basketball became popular and they hate the sport. Present company excluded but some do.

So they win by 18 and we’re favored by 20. But it was competitive in the first half so all the “LSU fans” came out and had their periods. Again. It’s basketball. Less talented teams can compete for a while , sometimes the entire game. See Southern/Miss St. It’s called basketball. LSU made halftime adjustments. They started hitting their 3’s. And are still doing it without a legitimate PG. But McMahon can’t coach. I’m mit saying they are going on a 5 game win streak but my God some of you people must have miserable lives .

Viewed more Hannibal and wilk getting quality minutes. The injury report may be hush hush, I don’t know, but this teams offensive production needs 2 vets who have produced. Don’t care if they’re playing backcourt\wing\or pressing. Get them time.
I think Alabama state played tough tough and the conference has some tough teams. The team clicked some in the second half. It abnormal to not be able to put away a smaller school but the team deserves some time to build before sec play.

But not as a PG. As a scorer. Maybe you should watch the game. Both PG became primary scorers. Offense worked because of fast break opportunities in second half as they stepped up the intensity on defense and replaced Baker with a more physical Dean . Hmm…..coaching moves. Typing real slow now.

I’m one of the most outspoken people on this board in terms of disliking Wade stans. There’s nothing wrong with a real LSU basketball fan wishing wade was back (like me) but there’s a difference between being a Wade casual and a real fan.
I’ve moved on and I’m going to support LSU. I was a fan before Wade was here and I’m going to be a fan long after McMahon is gone. Nothing will change for me.
