While I like the concept, the blue and purple are too close to work as a color on color scheme.
To make color on color work, you have to have something like red vs blue (SC vs UCLA, UGA vs Florida), dark red vs bright orange (Bama vs Tennessee), etc.
JMHO.

I was at the Vandy game and Vandy’s stadium is solid metal. It was super hot, albeit it breezy at times, but the heat never subsided.
