If Ed Alexander improves like he should I would expect him to take over the nose from Gilmore.

Agree. Alexander was superb last season IMO. My best bet would be that he takes over the starting NT job by midseason...

Gilmore has shown little in his 3 years. Shouldnt take much to pass him up.

Orgeron singled out Lawrence in his presser, said he secured a starting spot with the spring camp he had.

Glad to see Lawrence in that spot. The bothersome part of this is seeing Gilmore still as a starter. Hopefully this changes once the season starts. He'd have to had shown tremendous improvement over last year. All I can picture is him getting shoved backwards 99% of the plays vs Florida. Drove me crazy.
