Still—coming off a 3-8 season vs coming off a top 15 finish. One is not like the other.

You think the O-flakes don’t wanna ever mention Troy again? The word Troy has been posted on the Rant more than LSU has.

What makes you think I’m bashing O? I’m bashing the loss to Troy as complete shite, but that Doesn’t mean I hate O. He did a great job of turning things around and he deserves credit for that, and I’m looking forward to see him lead this team next year.

Those losses by Saban were worse than the loss this season.

Great.

Saban went to the SEC championship the years directly following the UAB and ULM losses.

No excuses for Orgeron in 2018 since we want to make Saban comparisions. But I'm sure they'll be coming anyway.

There is no excuse EVER for LSU tonlose to Troy so you people need to stop trying to excuse.

Troy’s best team ever should go no better than 11-1 if even LSUs worst team ever is on the schedule.

Here are some facts for you.

Bama had beaten ulm the previous year 41-7

Bama was a 25 point favorite

Bama had started season 6-2 with close 41-34 loss to eventual NC LSU.

Ulm lost to 2 win North Texas that year

ULM lost to a&m by 40 that year.

But...it wasn't a big loss for Nick Lsu loss to Troy was much worse. Lmao

It is a fact. Not even debatable. No real fan that knows anything about football is trying to excuse the troy loss. If they played right now Lsu would be at least a 20 point favorite

Well I agree they aren't real fans but people are absolutely excusing the loss, namely Space Cowboy.

I don't understand what's so hard about this. Yeah it sucked, but it probably had a hand in how the rest of the season turned out. Mistakes aren't mistakes if you learn from them.

And good god they get more worked up about one loss than I have about anything. If you're legitimately still angry about the Troy loss, get some professional help.

The team that beat that 3-8 team had never had a winning season in 1-A prior to that year. Without the LSU win the would have finished one game over 500.

Troy this season is 10-2 and receiving votes for being ranked in the top 25.

They are both bad losses and more alike than you will admit.

It was a big loss. Huge. I consider LSU’s loss worse because they were ranked, but that doesn’t mean I give Saban a pass. Shitty losses are shitty, I just get tired of the “But Saban lost to UAB/ULM” argument. At the very least they were EQUALLY embarrassing.
