It was a bad loss. That said, it isn't like they lost to ulm or uab. Troy may very well finish top 25.

Yea, may as well lost to the shite teams on our schedule while still losing to Bama.

Looks like Troy will have an 11 win season

For where we are as a program, that is unacceptable.
Losing to a top 25 sunbelt team is better than losing to a p5 team with a losing record.......
the AP poll and coaches poll taken in a vacuum are as useful as a shite-flavored lollipop.

troy is a fringe top 50 team, their 2nd best win came against arkansas st, who is ranked 76th according to the composite, which is a much better representation than simply looking at AP alone, and 7 of their 11 wins came against teams at or below .500.
LSU has more 4* on its roster than Troy has 3*. Troy only has 55 players on scholarship.
its hilariously ironic that the same people who think that this loss will just go away are so eager to bring up Sabans loss to UAB, you know, the one that happened 17 years ago? yeah, that just went away too.

We did in 2016 after the Auburn loss as well.
They defend O with this a loss to a SBC team is not really bad, but want a coach fired for losing to an SEC and Big team. 2-2 playing a tough schedule is shite while 3-2 playing a easy schedule is ok.
I don't think some even realize they are talking out of both sides of their mouth.
Les' last few years were unacceptable and so was these first two under O. The only real difference is that now a SBC team can beat us at for Homecoming.

And yet, this "bad" teams had a chance to do something miles couldn't do his last five years, finish in top 10
10th, 15th, it doesn't make a freaking difference. Neither are playing for anything significant.

They do. They just don't care as long as anyone other than Miles is the coach. Most of them have all but said it.

It does if you don't just go by the numbers and actually look at what our record is made up of.
why not? This is what you want us to do when considering Miles record. Just wins and losses. Not the ugly shite he paraded out on the field periodically. Not the games he won despite his lunacy on the sidelines.

I dunno, do bad coaches average that many wins over a decade? Time for you to go on record.
Here it is right here....can't get past Miles right? Can't consider that someone else could eventually achieve anything close to him right? I'll go on record when you do.
Admit that you don't believe he should have been fired.

Since you seem to be dead set on posting every obscure set of rankings you can find where do we rank in the final Champions of Life poll?

He should have been fired. But that doesn't mean O can do no wrong. So go on record.

Here again, no one is saying O can do no wrong. He's stepped on his cock plenty. But I'm willing to give him more of a chance than you.
Now, what is it you want me to go on record again?

No, it's to put a condition on firing our historically best coach for someone who has no business being the Head Coach of a program like LSU. That you read it otherwise speaks volumes as to where your allegiances lie. That's hardly surprising to those of us who know your posting history.

obscure set of rankings
obscure rankings? did you even bother to click the link? it is a composite of 116 Rankings.
why would you want to use one poll, composed of ~60something sports journalists, when you can look at a composite average of 116 rankings, one of which is included is the AP poll.
funny, you would think something that has alabama ranked 5th would make LSU fans happy. can't please everyone I guess.
