Dude just shut up. Of course Lsu shouldn't lose to them. We had a ton of our best players hurt and suspended, and they are a competitive team. It happens. It happened to Saban against both uab and ulm. Anything to defend Les Miles though right? The coach that nobody wants.

Totally non equivalent situations. LSU was not in a rebuild this year no matter how many ways yall try to revise history to say that.

Who's defending Les in this thread?

I downvoted the OP. You don’t lose to Troy. Just because they are one of the best shitty teams, it doesn’t change that.

I agree.

But why is the reaction to losing to troy so much greater and longer lasting than if we had lost to Arkansas this year? Or if we had lost to Vanderbilt? It's entirely possible, based on ranking and record that Troy was a better team than either of those schools.

Is it? September was fricking brutal.
I didnt say we enjoyed it. But take LSU and Troy out of the picture for a second and answer this question:

Is is more palatable to lose to a team with a good record or a team with a bad record? (even though you should have beat that team regardless)

Resources and talent. How is this a real question?

Troy beat LSU
LSU beat Auburn
Auburn beat Bama
Bama wins the BCSNCG
= Troy beat Bama

right?

I bet Michigan didn't feel too great losing to that App State team, regardless of them winning the FCS title.

Rebuild year? I'm not gonna argue with you. We had freshmen all over the field starting. You think ulm had near the talent of Alabama? Lmao. Uab near that of Lsu? You are a one track O bashing mf and probably have alone time with pics of miles. Get a life and get over it.

You're truly delusional if you think a shitty 4-8 Arkansas was better than a top 40, 10-2 conference champion Troy. Frankly I'd be more upset if we lost to the shittier team, which was Arkansas.

No, but it's a lot closer than what LSU had compared to Troy this year. Bama was nothing like what they are now. Not even close.

What's worse is losing to them on Homecoming. No way LSU should lose to that team at HOME.

They are still ranked by sites like CFN country at #84 which is about right.
A solid 14 spots lower than North Texas
