Currently 0-11, 9K on the year. 0-5 5K last night, 0-3 3K so far today. That’s a brutal start. I’d assume he has a pretty long leash but dam

Bregman was 0-32 or something like that his rookie season

Average MLB pitchers will humble even the greatest hitters. Good thing for Crews is it can’t get much worse than this start.

Not saying it’s the end for him but when you K in 9 straight ABs, eyebrows are gonna get raised

Have to show some urgency since there's only 98% of the season left.

I think he’s got 8 Ks, and he’s been on base once with a BB. It’s very early so probably volume of games is playing a role here, but there are like 4 Nationals in the top 10 for strikeouts in the NL so far.

Bookmark what I said earlier - see Jackson Holliday - some idiot on here was saying luckily he's got the whole season to work it out. Sorry buddy this isn't 10u Traction.

Trying to hit a professional pitcher (especially a really good one) is one of/if not the hardest thing to do in all of sports.
Watching some of those guys with the nasty pitches they have idk how any of them ever get hits.

What's worse is James Wood is in the same kinda way - these are basically the top two rookie prospects.

Then he started cheating.

Correct. He didn't SO in game one. 5 k yesterday in 5 AB and 3 today in 3 AB today. The MLB record for consecutive SO in consecutive ABs is 15.

After AAA H&E equipment will be calling

The nationals aren’t competing for a playoff spot this year, why would they send him down? They have every reason to keep him and wood up there now to figure it out.

To not destroy their confidence

He went through a couple spells at LSU like this where he was ice cold he's just a very streaky hitter - the full book is out on him though - it's about to get tough.

Ridiculous
He ain’t going no where
