Looking at Mahomes' college stats makes Burrow's stats even more impressive

Mahomes last college season: 5052 yards, 65.7 completion percentage, 41 TDs, 10 Ints
Burrow last college season: 5671 yards, 76.3 completion percentage, 60 TDs, 6 Ints
Obviously we have talked about Burrow's stats a lot and Mahomes did play 3 less games his last season. But it is mind-blowing to me that Burrow had nearly 20 more TDs and 4 LESS Ints than a guy who may be the best QB in the NFL. All while playing in the SEC and having a significantly better completion percentage.

Mahomes is another in the line of QBs propped up by Andy Reid’s great coaching.

Clearly you can't spot talent if it slapped you in the face

LSU whooped his team 56-27.
He played pretty well though.

I never said he wasn’t talented.

An all-star team put together with the LSU and Texas Tech rosters from that game would literally just be Mahomes switching teams.

He got sacked the first 3 plays of the game

He was good enough to keep them in it for a while though.

People laughed when I said that Burrow had many of the same attributes as Mahome. Put Burrow in systems like these 2 sb teams and he will prove my point no problem. LSU had more receivers heavily involved unlike these 2 teams. Burrow's pocket presence and mental horsepower to process each play with superior poise separates him from the rest. He may be the victim of a inferior OL that will cloud his stats but it will be fun to watch his development.

The kicker is Joe Burrow did it against far stiffer competition relative to Mahomes.

I know Mahomes needs to pull that damn ball in when he runs.

Burrow has a stronger arm than most people think, but just imagine him with Mahomes cannon.

I didn’t know who Patrick Mahomes was until he played LSU and instantly became one of my favorite players. Kid went beast.
