This is just year 2 and Frank William is only 36 years old. The potential is endless.

Year before he took over LSU won 10 games. That's like winning 3 games in football. Now they're tied for 1st in the SEC.

Simply remarkable what he's done in a short period of time.

My dad said this for years. Wish he was still alive to see LSU finally got a great coach. He liked Dale and Brady but I think Wade has the potential to be really special

Waters was his most important get in recruiting in his first year to win immediately. Judging by today, Smart was his most important recruit last year in building a consistent contender.

Will be interesting to see what happens when one of the top tier coaching jobs opens up.

I’m sure he will be on their radar. ESP if he gets a final 4 or two under its belt.

UCLA is not a top tier job

They have not been consistently relevant since wooden. They were good 2 years ago because they won the Lonzo Ball sweepstakes

Don't think anyone is claiming Wade said it first.

Perhaps you forget who knocked LSU out of the Final Four the last time we made it. They only had Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love in that era.

Had another pretty decent era with the dude who sued or is still suing the NCAA for something. Can’t remember his name. Think he had a brother. Point is, UCLA has done quite a bit more than Lonzo fricking Ball and his 1-year since Wooden.

You’re talking about Ed and Charles O’Bannon. They had very good UCLA teams around that time.

You can turn a program around quickly with great recruiting. He did that. The next question is can be sustain it? There have been several "LSU is back" proclamations over the last 25 years only for the program to take two steps back.

I Wade can, but he needs to finish strong with a few more solid players in the spring period
