I love LoLo, it was tough watching her so sad in that interview. She has nothing to hang her head about.

Well said, she nothing but class. A great person, great American and a great Tiger!!!!!!

I hope that LSU has some plans to honor her at a football game this fall. So that all of Tiger Nation can show her some love in person.

Did anyone see her after her first heat? The commentator asked her what was wrong because she was obviously distressed. She said something about all the haters. It makes me wonder if one of her teammate did something or said something to her after she won the heat. She really seemed in shock over something someone said or did to her. I also felt really bad for her. She seems like a really good girl.

It is sad and amazing that some ppl can't accept that their are good ppl in this world. Worse yet they are hell bent on tearing these ppl down and try to destroy them.

This sucks. I did not see the interview in question here. I did see the two medalist after the race and they gave a great interview saying all the stuff to make you proud and happy for them.

Lolo is a class act who makes our country, tiger nation and women everywhere very proud. She is a winner who has absolutely nothing to hang her head down about. After all the physical adversity she dealt with over the last year, a lesser person would have called it quits. But she kept aspiring toward her goal with her very best effort. That's a winner IMO.

Having said all that, she will also learn to gain a thicker skin because sometimes, people can be unfair and cruel which you can't control.

She did do some amazing things. Just making it to the Olympics is pretty hardcore. I feel bad for her because she didn't have a filter - she just talked to the media like you talk to your friends and family. And eventually people out there just act like the true assholes that they are, the jealous media... they'll just cut you down.

But Lolo is a true Tiger through and through. I honestly think her brightest days are still way ahead of her.

Very, very well stated. The timer has proven over and over again that she is/was worthy of the hype! The personality, looks, charisma and intelligence are all icing on the cake but will take her farther than her speed.
