What's this "should have won" shite? We should have won the UF game, we should have won the Wisky game, we should have won the Auburn game. But we didn't.
Should have won means nothing. Hopefully we won't be saying we should have won the BYU game.

I'm not saying BYU will or should win the game. But for nearly 40 years people have been discounting BYU because they lack "superior athletes." Yet, they've been a consistently good program despite being at a "disadvantage".
To me, BYU's success is remarkable. It's a very conservative university with a strictly enforced moral code of conduct. Thus, they almost limit themselves to largely recruiting Mormons. I don't know of a ton of non-Mormons who are really interested in abiding by such a strict code of conduct.
Or to put it more succinctly, BYU has been taking a bunch of white boys and beaten more talented teams for decades.
