hardest thing to do in today's coaching environment and one of BKs strongest skills. good combination for LSU

you are narrow minded.
I can't stand hype. Wade didn't do squat, but he had tons of preseason hype. Fans acted like a real top line coach like Coach K had come to LSU.
I think the baseball team will be really good next year, but I'm not going to post "lofty praise" for the baseball coach.

Let's reserve praise or criticism for when the team is actually playing.
Or...... and this is just a thought..... let's let fans be excited and discuss what they want until the season starts.

That last bit you quoted
That speaks volumes to me.

That speaks volumes to me.

Jamarcus friggin Russell
Was one of the best QBs to ever play at LSU!!
I mean Mett set LSU & SEC Records & Flynn Won a fukn Natty Chief. Not sure what ur trying to get across but me thinks you’re doing it all wrong!

Take your rose-colored glasses off, my dude. They weren’t that great. Russell was an idiot who needed to be told who to throw to, and when the big game was on the line he folded. Flynn was a game manager that limited his mistakes by being conservative with the ball. Both of them were on outstanding LSU squads that would have won with almost anyone at QB. Mettenberger setting passing records while everyone was still “3 yards and a cloud of dust.” On a weak LSU team where he was forced to pass more than they have in the past…and once again not a QB developed at LSU. He came from Georgia.

This idea that Mett and Burrow somehow learned everything elsewhere and then just came here fully developed and learning nothing from the LSU coaching staff is ridiculous.
Transferring in as a QB you still have to learn the system of the team you're on, how to make the pre-snap reads and translate them to adjustments IN THAT SYSTEM, etc. Burrow and Mett were talented and intelligent and were incredibly hard workers, and those skillsets allowed them to master what the LSU coaches wanted to do from a scheme and gameplan standpoint.
That doesn't mean that they were only developed elsewhere and then came here and performed. It means that they were undervalued at their first stop and came here to prove they deserved to be on the field.

Win 10+ games and then we'll discuss his potential.
2 of the last 3 LSU head coaches didn’t win 10 games in their 1st year.
