Staying in Gatlinburg tonight, driving to K'ville tomorrow. Just watched the local K'ville weather forecast for Saturday. The prediction is for the rain to start right about kickoff time and to continue through the game. Winds up to 20 mph. I don't recall what he predicted the temp would be at kickoff but they said to dress for cold, wet, windy conditions.

We usually go to the Tennessee game because it is one of our favorite road trips in the SEC. The main reason is that we like to hike the trails in the Smokey Mountains. With a forecast like that it is just as well we were not able to make it this year. Still sorry I am not there.

Cold, wet and windy. Stiff dew blowing from the north. Guice and Williams all night!

Because this game was scheduled this late in the season wouldn't someone think that there would not be a chance this would be the case? Hopefully the SEC scheduler won't win this for Tennessee and we can come out on Rocky top.

By this logic, LSU should never have any games in August, September due to the possibility of Strong Thunderstorms.....

That's a lot better than it could be this time of year. I've been to games in Knoxville that were just plain miserable.

Silver lining is that Tennessee fans might put this season to rest and stay at home, scratching out home field advantage.

We got to K'ville about an hour ago. It is great weather today and the prediction is for a sunny day Sunday but a little cooler. Just bad luck the cold front will probably move through at the time of the game.
Had to stop by Outdoor World and buy a pair of gloves and a better jacket than the one I left at home.

So games should be scheduled based on potential weather patterns?
