That hard practicing with live hitting takes its toll during the season when shite gets more real every week for game day. No matter how tough you are the body wants to protect itself when bruised, sore and hurt. If they don’t know how to tackle, block, give or take hits by now we wouldn’t be 12-0

Too many college coaches let their egos get in the way. The guys who are always willing to do things a new way will succeed. Coach O is proving that for himself right now.

Coach O said that they measure each player's practice speed & then monitor it all year. When the staff sees a drop off, Coach O said he knows to cut back practice time. Still wanna call him a dumb shrimp boat captain?

It's not just that he gets it with the football team, which is for sure the most important thing, but he gets it with the media and fans.
His comments on "The Binder" were great. Any other self absorbed head coach would have scoffed at the question as a troll job. Bebe took no offense, made a funny statement and turned it into a positive.
I was not a hater when he was hired, but I was more of a wait and see. Hoped he would do well as a Louisiana guy but worried by past experience.
He turned me around last season with how they bounced back after the Bama loss and the success he was having in recruiting.
We are on the doorstep of another Golden Age of Tiger football that could dwarf what Saban/Miles accomplished. If he continues to be willing to adapt and address needs after winning it all we could be seeing a dynasty being built.
Geaux Tigers!

No doubt Coach O has everything going the right direction. Hoping for an LSU NC. Everyone in the country should be pulling for this guy. Perfect fit.

You mean 3 hour long full pads practice in week 13 is a bad idea for maintaining explosiveness? Les doesn’t believe you.

Even better...the 2006. Coach Ed Orgeron of the undefeated LSU Tigers ended their perfect season with a beat down of Jimbo Fisher led SEC West foe Texas A&M following their dramatic 46-41 win over Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide, on their way to the College Football Playoff where the Tigers hope to claim their 4th national championship in school history
