Incredible to me that we have players the caliber of Larson and Brown who are in dog fights to step on the field.

Agreed, dude hit just under .300 last year as a freshman and was pretty good in the field. Wonder what happened.

Nothing happened. Curiel is maybe just a kid that you absolutely have to play. That's one spot removed. Stanfield is a stud defensively. If he is getting on base, he must play. That's 2 spots.
That leaves a whole big group fighting for just one position. He will get his opportunities.

I think it’ll settle in with Curiel, Stanfield, Brown and Larson in the everyday lineup.
