Like almost all situations in NFL, Daniels can probably play his way out of this backlash

There is already a social media trend where the video will start with something random like "why Scottie Scheffler didn't win a 5th major this year" or "Why did they make presidential terms 4 years and not 5?" and then the video will cut to JD5 rookie season highlights or at the Heisman ceremony with the song "The Sign" by Ace of Base playing in the background. And it's not like it's being completely facetious where it's showing him throw interceptions or getting slam tackled in college, like it's usually an actual pretty sick edit. Like 90%+ of these videos are not Washington fans either.

I could see a scenario where, IF he starts the season playing really well and winning games, the joke starts to turn into a sort of sarcastic, but genuine momentum behind him in a weirdly ironic way. Of course, if he plays bad it will only exacerbate the issue.
