Tickets are simply too expensive. I’m going and paying the stupid price because I love LSU and want to be there plain and simple.
The brokers who bought these up will take a beating. They will be dumping these week of for $100 for lower bowl. Book it.

If this game were being played in the 90’s. Miami would have a 70/30 fan advantage. I recall seeing a ton of Miami gear in and around south Louisiana in the 90’s.

Prices will definitely come down week of otherwise will people say forget and stay at home or at the bars. 300 is wayyy too much for lower bowl opening game.

Because Texas is one of the biggest states and the bandwagon fans come out of the closet for big games. It’s not hard to understand. It has nothing to do with geography. There’s probably bandwagon fans of the U all over the nation

We will have close to 20k there I think. Our ticket office got an allotment of 15k which is just about sold out. We have had serious home attendance issues in the last decade but for big road games we actually usually have a solid turnout for a school of our size.

Well if you’re right, the stadium will be pushing 65-70k easily. LSU will have over twice as many fans as Miami no matter what

They will be there! All with gold rope chains on

I hope you're right. It would make for a much better atmosphere.

I think 80K will attend. Lots of neutral fans will attend m/b 20 to 25K.

I don’t doubt it. Out of curiosity, if anyone knows, how big an allotment did LSU get?

yea they are up there right now.

They don't travel to their own stadium. I expect very few of them in Dallas.

Miami is like the official unofficial Hispanic college team.
Latino/Hispanic excluding Mexican. North Texas is not loaded with Cubans, Puerto Rican's and Dominicans.

The can barely make home games.

They suck as fans. They didnt bring a lot to the peach bowl in 05 either.

I moved from Dallas last year.
Surprisingly, UM had a decent following of fans that would show up to watch games at Stan's on Lower Greenville Avenue.

I’m not surprised one bit. Miami has a national following. Maybe not as pervasive as the early to mid 90’s, but akin to Notre Dame, you’ll always see some Canes fans wherever you are.

I’m a Miami alum and haven’t attended a game since 2004. Due to prices and the humidity Id rather watch a game in the comfort of my own pool.
Most Miami alum are in a healthcare profession or studied law and leave the state of Florida to pursue their careers. Not surprising we could be sprinkled around the US. Also, we only have an undergrad population of about 11k per year. Many of our past students I knew of were not sports fans unfortunately and could careless.
Our attendance should be low but it’s our play I most concerned with
