I don't think JJ is a QB that can get it done against the elite D's we will face in our conference such as UF and Bama

I hope I'm wrong

and if I am I'm going to celebrate it just as much as the JJ supporters

Newton threw some decent balls last night. JJ has absolutely HORRIBLE mechanics, especially his release/accuracy.

so style points are included in the stats now?

Mr. 6-0-5 defensive coordinator himself. Exactly how did MSU execute that defense so finely last night that they were able to contain Mr. All world QB?

You may be completely right. He just our best option by far.

And, on the list of problems with the offense, I don't think he breaks the top two.

I'm just saying you have no basis to make a argument MSU has a better D than UNC after one game where they played as a complete unit.

See what I did there? Dude chemistry is fine and all but you need athletes regardless and that is what UNC has. You are beyond stupid for thinking MSU has a better D than UNC 2nd team simply because of chemistry.

I love how yall are honestly calling one another an idiot for claiming one D (MSU or UNC-2nd team) is better......there has been one game and there is no way to tell.

I would like to think that MSU D would be better in week 1, but UNC might be the better D in week 4 or so even if they are still playing their backups......Time will tell

Really? Then why hasn't LSU been ranked so highly with all our athletes the past two years?

WTF are you talking about? LSU's previous defensive ranking has nothing to do with this arguement?

According to you, you need athletes. LSU has athletes so why have been so low in most categories on defense? What is LSU's problem?

I'm making a point, chemistry is more important than you think it is, not just athletes/talent. That is why you can't say UNC has a better defense than MSU after one game. Not that hard to comprehend.

It was brought up in the SEC Rant that only 6 of Cam's last 20 passes were completed past the line of scrimmage.

UNC's defense had talent all over the place. Davis has recruited his arse off over there.
MSU has some talent. But to think that UNC's 2nd teamers are better than MSU's starting defense is beyond laughable.

Come on guys. . .don't embarrass yourselves here.

So your only reason for saying MSU has a better D than UNC is chemsitry...after one game?

Where in those two quotes did I say MSU was better? Did you lose all your brain cells? Maybe you do need some more beer.

I was making the original point, you have no basis after one game, to make a argument they have a better defense than MSU. But nowhere in there, did I say MSU had a better defense than UNC. Like I said, get some reading comprehension skills.

Then how the frick can you make the opposite of that arguement?

But nowhere in there, did I say MSU had a better defense than UNC

Read the fricking question you said. You are asking if we seriously thought the 2nd team of UNC was better than MSU and then arguing for MSU. That is you stating MSU has a better D whether you actually typed it or not.

Cam's stats: 11-19 136yds 2TDs 1 INT and Auburn thinks they have one of the best QBs in the world and was named player of the game.

If their belief is based solely on that game, then it's a silly one. My understanding is that they are going on more than just that game, but then I don't know what's in their heads.

Jefferson's stats: 15-21 151yds 2TDs 1 INT and the LSU fan base has been losing their shite over the "poor" play of the QB.

LSU fans' concerns about Jefferson are not based on that one game, and if you are claiming that there's this huge outcry among LSU fans about how horrible he was in that game, then I'll just leave you to argue with your straw man. He made some mistakes, he made some good plays and the offense was, overall, not impressive against a 2nd string ACC defense.

Again, only 6 of Cam's last 20 completions over two games were beyond the line of scrimmage.

And even so, JJ had a higher completion percentage.

Sometime the facts don't lie.
