All schools we're competing with, including the little Clemson, is richer than us!
We can't compete with them richer schools financially.

Why would an elite coordinator come work for O at any price?

Venables plays white dudes on Defense. Some here on the Rant wouldn't approve of that.

You all talk about giving salaries like it's Monopoly money.

Why are you talking about the 2012 Peach Bowl in a discussion about Venables working with Coach “Zero”?

I get what you saying but the fact remains that Aranda fell into O's lap since he was already on the staff when O got here.

That has nothing to do with the question of “Why would an elite coordinator come work for O at any price?”

The answer is obvious. O had elite coordinators, we won a national title and then one guy got a head coach job and the other guy got a NFL OC job.

name one “elite” coordinator that O hired.

Brady doesn’t count, because his own boss in Nola didn’t know his name.
So he didn’t come here as elite.

Yeah, an elite defensive coordinator that O didn't hire while butting heads with him & throwing him under the bus his whole tenure. It was only a matter of time & Aranda probably couldn't wait to get away from O.

Why are you asking me this? The question I answered was “Why would an elite coordinator come work for O at any price?”

I said why. Coach O hasn’t hired an elite coordinator yet, but that doesn’t mean none would want to “at any price”.

And you were told Aranda was already on the staff. That elite coordinator fell in O's lap. O didn't bring him on board.

Coach O hasn’t hired an elite coordinator yet

Yet here we are 4 years into the O tenure & he has yet to hire an elite coordinator yet? You are ignoring the obvious while those with common sense can see a huge issue here.

Well Aranda was on staff until this year. Steve Ensminger was on staff when O was hired as well.

He hired Pelini, and Matt Canada (trash).

You’re acting like he should be hiring new coordinators every year.

The question was never “who has Coach O hired?” The dude said that an elite coordinator would never come work for O “at any price” (including $3 million a year?) which is just fricking clown logic. The only elite coordinators that were here have moved on to better roles (head coach and NFL OC) so the potential is to come work for O and then improve your career.

We are 10 months removed from a 15-0 National Title and you guys act like LSU is a cancer on your resume.

Until it actually happens, he can say that no elite coordinator would never come work for O all he wants because up until now, it hasn't happened.

You can celebrate & enjoy that title while still addressing & mentioning some serious issues surrounding the program & O's tenure outside the Championship. You can't be that ignorant & thinking everything is fine. This defense can't stop shite & players look disinterested.

Bro. He said “Why would an elite coordinator come work for O at any price?”

ANY. PRICE.

Including $500 million per year?

That’s fricking ignorant and the point I’ve been making this entire time.

How could you possibly defend that?

Has it happened yet? No matter how ridiculous it sounds, it hasn't happened so his ridiculous statement is correct. How hard is that for you to understand?
