yeah, i'm glad that lonergan is back in the line-up. but we all know we have to have depth.
I know t-bob has gotten roughed up, esp when playing center. but consider this, he's a reliable snapper, and he went in less than 100% himself when lonergan was out.
this is a better team with t-bob on it. and we'll need him again and again before this season is over.
i am tired of the criticism from some of the all-pros on the rant really getting on his case.
Geaux Tigers!

we only need T-Bob because of injuries and the lack of depth at certain positions. If his last name wasn't Hebert, he wouldn't even be at LSU.
I'm grateful that he sticks around and that he can play all 5 positions of the OL. But, he's not very good at any of them. And, he is the weakest lineman the minute he runs on the field.
So, props to you T-bob for knowing how to play 5 positions and being the son of a Louisiana legend.

I thought he played really poorly against Tennessee but some rantards told me he was injured during that game so T-Bob rock on

T-Bob has been pretty good at Guard. I think he was better last game at center than he was at Tennessee. He can't play all 5 position (T-Bob at Tackle would be scary).
Props for continuing to develop after losing the starting center job.

Slack house - No Clue whatsoever! How does Hebert"s last name have anything to do with it? His Dad played at Northwestern! Come on! Outside of his performance in the 1st half against Tenn (which he was maybe 75% healthy), his game has been awesome. Would you even play one hole of Golf with an MCL issue. The guy is a warrior & we are freaking fortunate he has persevered.

You need a versatile linemen that can fill in anywhere and TBob is that guy since he can play C and both guard spots.
If you plugged Shaw or Collins in for Williford that would be even better

Could not disagree more. TBH takes a lot of heat for a sub-par sophomore season and an injury weakened junior season. In terms of his senior season I think he's been stellar. As a matter of fact, we struggled to run the ball against KY early without him. I think the specter of past problems still clouds people's judgment on him today.

Slackhouse - if the"Hebert" name got him his scholarship according to your logic, why didn't Dalton Hilliard' or Brian Kitchen's sons' get one as well? Both Dalton & Brian were big time players for LSU & Hebert's Dad never came close to playing a second at LSU. Your logic is retarded. Guys like you have no clue what it takes to compete this level.

T-Bob was a 4 star and ranked as the #2 center in the country with offer from Florida and Georgia among others. He didn't pan out as a top flight center but he didn't get an offer because of who his daddy is either.
He's filled in pretty well for us when needed and provided much needed depth.
t-bob.

You are still stuck in 2009.
T-Bob has come a long way since then and has played very well at times for the last year and a half. He's a better guard than center even though you would think that Center would be a more natural position for him.

grateful he was in to snap the ball vs. Tenn in 10

Agreed! Apparently he was the only person on the field who knew what he was doing. JJ was gazing toward the sideline when the ball hit him. T-Bob sould get personal credit for the win.

Man it's funny that T- Bob could fold YOU up and put YOU inhis pocket. I absolutely hate our fanbase. T Bob has don't more for LSU football 2 weeks ago when he was injured against Tenn than you ever will. But yeah he sucks

T-Bob is a legend. He's also an exceptional for a back-up.

T-Bob is better than most on here give him credit for. He's a solid guard and a competent backup center. Many teams would love to have somebody like him on their 2-deep chart. It's just he's a notch or so lower in talent than our (ETA: other) full-time starters.
