They have to enter the draft board tho right?
I guess my question was do u know anything about who is definelty entering the draft(wanting to go pro) and who is gonna stay?

Maybe things have changed but in the past there was no declaring for the MLB draft.
Teams just drafted and players could go or not.
Only rule was that if you didn’t go pro out of HS you were not eligible until your junior year of college.
At least that what I remember. Things may have changed.

Minor clarification-category should read “eligible to return.”
There will be a few on that list that will likely not be on the roster next season for various reasons.

No, you don't have to enter the draft, it's not like football. Anyone who is draft eligible can be drafted

We're going to lose most of our bats next year. We need to hit portal hard for bats. I think Morgan is for sure gone and likely Jobert leaves too.

Yeah lots of speculation. Id figure some would know by now but i guess once draft order comes out then decisions will be made.

Makes sense. He hasn't really distinguished himself as a top draft prospect, so unless someone is willing to draft him and give him a large signing bonus he almost assuredly comes back.
