This team isn’t that good. The next 15 conference games will determine how this season will end.

If you just don't get swept you will be 5-10.

I truly think that Jay is testing this team, building character, and seeing who is going to nut up.
At least I really hope so. Because if not, the list of questionable calls, line-ups, pitching changes, and everything else is hard to understand.

I totally agree. I am confident they will settle on a group of guys they can count on, and go on a run. I’m not worried. State is a prominent program. Tough road environment. We weren’t swept. First SEC series of the season. It happens.

Lost Crews, Beloso, Dugas, Skenes, and the guy that played 1B last year. That was a lot of experience out the door.
If we don’t host a regional, or get to Omaha, I have confidence that Jay will make the necessary choices to set us up again by next season. Some of the players are not in rhythm and frankly looked nervous this weekend. Jay has to change that mindset.
Overall, 7 national titles since 1991. Can’t reasonably expect perfection every season. This might not be our year but we are defending champions and will get everyone’s best effort.

Tommy tanks has risen. Pitching staff had an off weekend. Let’s see us take care of home and see if we can win a road series and get all the fans back on track.
