Do you believe Orgeron will win 8 games this year at LSU? No, but I give it a small chance because everybody sucks. But I think we lose to Ole Miss, Bama, and Tenn. I dont think we sweep Florida, AU, Aggie and Arky.

While I hope I score zero on this test, the fact of the matter is there is no way to make a real justification for this hire.
The MSU game was his opportunity to silence those folks talking about his Ole MIss tenure, yet the team looked unprepared and the coaches did not seem to have many answers. Very telling comment he made that the team did not look sharp practicing last week.
Him molding a program in his image has led to an abysmal W/L record in the past. I am not sure what anyone thought or saw to indicate it would be different this time.

I don't think he should even have gotten interviewed for the job, so no, i don't think he's going ot accomplish anything but lose.

No. However, as I've stated previously, he could not win the SEC while at LSU and still have a pretty good tenure. Alabama has won the SEC 4 of the last 5 years. It's not like it's just there for the taking.

Yes. I predicted 9-3 before the season including a loss to State. I still think we can get to 9, but 8-4 is a pretty good guess. 2018 is where we should be worried. We play 5 very difficult games next season. We're lucky the SEC is such dogshit, or else it could be an extremely concerning season.

No. The problem for Orgeron is that LSU coild go 9-3/8-4/8-4 his first three seasons, and he'd still probably be fired. That kind of "mediocrity" is part of the reason why Miles was fired.

1.will O improve on his 3-22 sec record as a head coach?
2.will o ever reach 5th place in the west?
3. will o shock us all and reach a .500 record in conf play as a head coach?
4. in 2020 will o be hired at his 4th dream job?
5. did you ever think there would be lsu fans on here defending a coach with .120 sec win %?

had the mcneese game been played we just fired a coach that won 10 games every year but once since 2010.
surely you cant claim this... 9-3/10-2/10-2 is a good job when it got the last coach fired.

Miles hadn't had a 10-2 regular season since 2012. So 2016 would have been four seasons in a row without one.
Back-to-back 10-win regular seasons would absolutely 100% keep Orgeron his job.
