I think it's going to be a very good season that becomes the building block for two great seasons back to back over the next two years. We will be exceptionally talented but young. I think we lose to Bama and one headscratcher along the way that we should probably win. We will get big wins against the Gators and Ags. NY6 bowl game and a lot of momentum going into 2022.

Talent wise, this team should go no less than 10-2. Who knows what they will do with so many new coaches.

If LSU beats UCLA and finishes 9-3 that means they went 5-3 in conference. That is unacceptable for me.

If Wokeward and the Covidiots don't ruin it and let it normalize it could be okay. If they act like fools like last year it will be a disaster.

Stop blaming last year's terrible performance on politics.
It's stupid and embarrassing.
Everybody dealt with COVID and with politics last year.
We put a poor product on the field and we should make sure it never happens again.

The team has the talent to beat pretty much everyone, and compete with Alabama. People forget how much they are breaking in on offense, with a new coordinator and QB and most of their OL. Looking at that matchup (their OL vs. LSU DL) it actually looks favorable on paper. We'll see how that looks 2 months from now.

Every other game is very winnable if no major coaching gaffes. It's important that the proper tone is set in the opener against UCLA, though. If the team plays well and with confidence in Pasadena, that should carry on throughout the year and LSU will be the tough out that we know that they are.

I see a 10-2, big-bounce back type year, minus any devastating injuries.

Cautiously optimistic. On paper we have a lot of talent, but also a lot of questions that need to be answered

If the D line is as good as advertised and it’s not because our O line is bad, we can go from 10-2 to 12-0

If the D line looks so good because the O line is just that bad, may be the end for Ed

We were a dumb rescheduled flukey loss to mizzou and that dumb opening MSU game where we probably win easily if Pelini wasn’t so clueless away from being a respectable all things considered 7-3. As bad as it was at times that was not a team with 5-5 talent. 7-3 off what we lost without the defensive debacle would’ve been more like it. Any rival underestimating us will be disappointed because this is at least a 10-2 team. Bama and at ole miss are the only games that I think could pose serious questions.

Well, I have a hip that is killing me, my left ear has permanent wax build up, just got over duel eye conjunctivitis and my toe nail fungus is improving......
As far as the Tigers, 14-1.

I’m with you, cautiously optimistic reserve assessment until after the UCLA game.

11-1 is my take, with a one loss to Bama. I don't see the fatuation with Ole Miss, and aTm. In time, Rebel fans will finally realize how much of a clown hire Kiffin will be. He'll screw up off the field, which will infuriate the Ole Miss people with money. They guy is a complete dirt bag

I’m fairly optimistic about this season, as I am hearing th some good things about the team. I just hope Covid doesn’t affect the season too much.

This defense will go down in history as one of the best units in LSU history.

But stats won't tell the story b/c offenses are scoring more than ever.

I expect our Defense will be a top 5 in NCAA in 2021.

I am with 8181 on this exactly. I always predict 10 wins and rarely long.

They have talent, if they had desire and work effort, new coaches etc, all gel together this can be a very special year
