It’s guaranteed Money will get hit for runs, so why not?

Why not suggest this in your other thread?

I think he’s getting his last chance before Taylor or Collins takes his spot or Dutton does and that moves Collins or Taylor down to Sunday.

What about trying hasty as a starter?

I think jj loves to have Collins eating up innings on Saturday and having Taylor doing the same on Sunday. With that being the case, he may not do what I suggested above with one of those two starting

Signed Matty Ott.

Being good in relief doesn’t earn you a starting role or make it a good idea

Fotenot would do just fine but he’s a good bridge guy for those later middle innings

Yet Money hasn’t been good in his starting role. He’s been the biggest weakness of the starting pitchers.

He started against ULM this year and threw 1 inning. His last start before that was in 2018 against Vandy. He lasted 2 innings. His other two starts that year also only went 2 innings against Auburn and UNO. He started 1 game in 2017 against Tennessee, also only lasted 2 innings. His longest outings have been in relief in tight games. That’s where he thrives. He has not been good when given the opportunity to start and hasn’t been good when he comes in when it isn’t a close game.

Bama is 5-2 in SEC game threes. Today is important. Money needs to avoid giving up HRs. If he can do that, the LSU offense can do enough to win.

LOL…can we start Gausman or Nola instead? Or maybe someone from further back which the GUMPS would never even notice. Cause they’re still dealing with their bleeding bungholes from the UGA game…

He hasn’t done well as a starter. Maybe Money opens with a really short leash and Fontenot comes in and pitches long relief.

My guess is that if anything changes down the stretch it will be Floyd taking Money starts or just switching Money to Sunday and letting the Dutton/Taylor tandem work the Saturday. I feel like Jay/Kelly like having Taylor available earlier in the weekend though and if they don't need him they like the Dutton/Taylor combo on Sunday.

What has he done to "earn it"?

He is all hat and no cattle.
I keep waiting for signs of greatness that you and a few others have been espousing for a couple of years.
So far I haven't seen it.

He can’t avoid giving up HRs. His ball is flat.

What he needs to avoid is everything around that, walks and unfocused at bats. We can handle 3 solo HR over 7 innings.
