I mean he’s made maybe 2 egregious decisions in his time at lsu while managing numerous high profile arms. He doesn’t really toe the line. The Anderson move was a bit desperate despite Jay knowing he’s a $3million dollar arm.

You keep saying the same thing over and over without any proof to the fact lol.

You don’t actually follow Major League Baseball,

Correct. I watch college baseball 4-5 days a week for 4 months a year. Got too much other shite to do to keep up with MLB too until the playoffs.

But even the most basic of retards can understand that MLB teams play way more games (which means way more pitches) and has a shorter rest period between starts

Current trends are for pitching less, pitching less frequently, but high velocity pitchers are getting hurt at a higher rate

Current trends are more pitchers are throwing harder every year.

If there were 100 pitchers (hypothetically) throwing 100mph in 2024 and now there are 200 pitchers throwing 100mph in 2025, there are going to be more injured pitchers.

pitching less doesn’t prevent injuries

There’s no way to track how many pitchers prevent injuries due to reduced worked load.

If you acknowledge that more pitches under stress could lead to injury, then there is nothing for me to prove. That is the whole idea behind limiting pitch counts. The less you throw, the less likely you are to be injured.

There isn’t a fool proof way to prevent injuries or someone would be rich. But very basic science says 30 pitches on the anrm isn’t like 85 pitches and 85 pitches isn’t like 135 pitches.

Brother, you think the only reason pitchers are pitching less is because of bullpen usage. There is nothing I could say that will make sense to you.

I never said that.

The reason pitchers are pitching less is because the theory was less pitching would prevent serious injuries. Current research is saying this is not the case. The thinking now is that the arm isn’t built to withstand the stress of throwing so hard. The thinking is to tone things down and not stress speed.

I’ve never said that. I said it was a reason. I’ve just pointed out the fact that you claimed it was a “desperate” play by Jay. Which is an objectively dumb claim.
