Found on Dandy Don this morning:

When speaking of Harris and quarterback play, Miles said, “We are developing there. It is a mastery of a pretty broad book right now. When he (Harris) gets into a game plan, it will be much more succinct and his mastery of it will be easy to do.”

CLM should go ahead and sign a donor card right now because when he goes it would do the world (and The Rant) a lot of good to understand why his cognitive processes are so much different than his fellow human beings. I mean, seriously, he can't just sit around at night thinking of how he can squirrel his way around the next day's press conferences and interviews. This stuff just comes out naturally in real time.

What I love about Miles speak is that while it sounds so unusual and off, when you really look at the words he's saying, he's normally grammatically correct.

Some times it is hard to understand us geniouses but Coach simply said it will be easier to study a game plan than learning the whole play book by studying !

What's so difficult to understand about that quote? They are working on installing the entire play book during fall camp. When it comes to weekly game planning, they will cut the playbook for that week down to suit the opponent's defense.

When Miles was explaining his fall as the team ran out on the field versus Alabama

quote:

"There was a contact between a football player and a cheerleader, male I might add. That male cheerleader clipped me from the side as I was running full speed or slower than full speed, but generally, in the upper quadrant of speed. And I hit the ground pretty good.”

I forgot the exact wording from his discussion of Travin Dural helping the lady get out of her car, but it was something like "he created an opportunity for the woman to exit the vehicle."

I laughed out loud at that one. "Created an opportunity?" I love this guy.

Pretty much every web browser on mobile and desktop has spell check built in, and you drop this gem in a post?

You should get a gig to serve as his interpreter at press conferences.

No one is saying it's hard to understand (albeit you have to read it kinda slow to piece it together) we just want to know why? Why does he speak this way? I for one love it and find it quite amusing but at the same time I'm curious why when how did he start speaking this way?
What I really want to know is- does he speak like this when it's just you and him in his office alone being real? When he's talking candidly with a familiar face?
Either way I love it. Can't get enough of the Lesisms!

I honestly understood the quote easily. He's running the entire playbook now. It'll be evn easier for him once they are in game prep weekly to master game plans.

I think there may be a story behind it something like this. Can't deny the guy is awesome though.

Is that what he said? If it wasn't so difficult, why the need for you to interpret it for us? And surely you are not saying that Les does not generally speak in a convoluted weird syntax kind of way.
