And Nola, and Shreveport. It’s why a democratic governor was re elected. The republicans only show up to vote for the president apparently.

About 79% of Los Angeles county 12+ is vaccinated. They have about 1700 people total in the hospital right now. That’s almost half of our state despite having a population of 10 million people. The numbers support that the vaccine decreases hospitalizations and deaths. This is a prime example of that. Louisiana just couldn’t help themselves but rank last in another statistic with 39% vaccination rate (40% less than Los Angeles)

Edit: 73% of people have received one dose vs. about 41% in Louisiana.

This was my first thought too. Been waiting to see if UCLA does some NAZI papers checks, and here LSU goes off and does it. Crazy world.

California less Orwellian and tyrannical than LSU. Wowwwww.

Running LSU into the ground with that move. Going to be just about the only team in the SEC and it will severely hurt attendance
