may be not...but he throws a much better deep ball than JJ.. his problems were in reading coverage in the middle
Jefferson has thrown fine deep balls but with this OL he can't try it as much. Lee couldn't read coverages...wasn't mobile enough to get away from rushers EVER....couldn't throw screen passes...couldn't throw flat passes....threw late over the middle...and never threw the ball out of bounds instead of just heaving it down the field. Enough?

Les needs to rotate the qb's. Our offense is to predictable. And for you that dont agree,I really dont give a rats arse.Oh and btw our defense was awesome.

The race card is already out there. It has been since last year. It started as soon as JJ took a snap. the black guys on our team love him and have acted like he's some great qb. Sadly, some fans actually bought into it.
Ok, would like to know who Toliver and Lafell would have throwing to them this year. Lafell has been in Jefferson's grill over the passes already. BTW, Lafell has NFL $ on the line right now.

is this a joke?
No. Right now the offense is for a pocket passer. JJ is not a pocket passer, Lee is
JJ can perform rolling out, not in the pocket.
Change the offense, or change the trigger man.

Jefferson has a stronger arm than Lee and taking a sack on 4th down is much better than an INT run back for a TD.

"Guy, try watching LSU games instead of just posting CRAP and acting like you know about college football. If you think Lee is close to as good as Jefferson, stay away from being a talent evaluator. You are a MORON"
You my friend appear to be the moron if you think that JL should not be given a shot. This year as opposed to last, I believe we can overcome int's and even pick 6's, we cannot overcome not scoring.

the problem with the offense isn't a QB problem anyway, it's a Miles/Crowton problem. No one on offense is on the same page. Looks like a chinese firedrill at times. It's like the Peveoto/Mallory sitiuation last year but happening to the offense this year.

both result in an L in the win/loss column. it was our last play of the game. a hail mary, or lateralling the ball 54 times is better than taking a sack.

This is factually incorrect.
This proves you are only an agenda person and not providing constructive analysis.
I even gave a run down of a conversation that I had w/a recruiting scout. Why can't you accept fact?

so are you Les? Or are you in his hip pocket?

i'll say this
when Lee came into the huddle against Vandy, he got plenty of high 5's

What pocket?? You mean the pocket when 5 OL can't block 3 pass rushers? There is no pocket...never has been. I agree that sometimes Jefferson runs into the pass rusher but then again, he has quite the wide choice of pass rushers who get past their blockers.
You were delusional with your previous SN, this one is no better.
Watch the film.

Why? A loss is a loss. Instead we basically give FL a positive yardage play for them. Yipee.
Hell, heave it up...let your playmakers at least have a shot at it.
He had over 5 seconds to make a decision on both those plays. And, if he cant find a pocket with a three man rush....well, that is on him.

Uh, last year LSU lost to Georgia due to Lee's 2 INTs returned for TDs. Did LSU beat Georgia IN ATHENS this year? And once again, I have seen 0 people who attended practices nor the coaches who run them seem to think that Lee is close to being as good as Jefferson. So, once again, some of you know squat about talent evaluation.

I do not know how lee would do, and if jj was doing anything at all, other than getting sacked, i would riducule them. but, face it, for whatever reason, jj can not get it done, unless there is a jekyl/hyde type transformtion in the future. so why not try lee, not saying i would start him right now, but i would give him a couple of possessions and see how it goes.
and getting the best recruit in the country and keeping him on the bench while you are unable to move the ball, well that is almost unforgivable. if this does not change, you can forget about top recuits coming here in the future.

we have some white OL and tight ends.
seriously though, he throws a TD pass and got congratulations from 3 white guys. The first person to congratulate him should have been Jefferson.
Second should have been Charles Scott or Lafell. Shouldn't one of them be a leader this year?
Nope, three random white guys instead. I'm also sure that a ball boy and gatorade guy told Lee congrats.
