Maybe he just needed the money very badly to support his family... and keep all attention away from him!

He didn't throw Fournette under the bus at all. Where are you coming up with this shite?

This dude came on here 3 hours after Les Miles talked about this and started the first thread saying it. If Miles did in fact throw LF under the bus, there would be 76 threads about it made in the past 3 hours.

OP is completely full of shite. I watched the show this morning and the crap he is saying is 100% twisted.

Because it's deserved? He didn't leave everything on the field. He had played hurt before. He could have played hurt again. If not, he could have suited up and stood with his team.

LF7 should have been at the game, on the sideline with his teammates. End of story.

Not sure how closely you were listening. He prefaced it with saying that O was involved in the decision.

Should have been at the game instead of wasting his money on that watch!

What could LF7 have done on the sidelines for LSU at bowl game? He took beating after beating in that piss poor offense for three years. He did his time.

Les stated all players should be at last game they play/ attend in college hurt or not hurt and further the NCAA should provide insurance for players risking disabling injury in bowl games.

Les should know that once you declare for the NFL and sign with an agent you cant travel with the team. Les should also know that LF7 had 20 mill insurance on those legs.

You're either an idiot or just wanted to stir shite.

Miles specifically said he has a problem with a player sitting out for a bowl game unless they're injured

I don't know but maybe it's some type of NCAA rule that didn't allow it. We had secondary violations for a prospect talking to a former player on side lines. If declared for draft had agents and a high rollers watch. Maybe he shouldn't have gone. Don't know

If he was injured -- sure, don't play, that's reasonable -- But, he could have waited to sign with an Agent and still been eligible to travel with the team and be on the sidelines.

LSU game LF a lot too -- it goes both ways and I 100% agree with Les' statement that a college player should be in attendance, whether playing or not at their last game representing the school and supporting their team.

yes -- this is my opinion

The hate for Les Miles needs to stop. He did not say that Fournette should have played if he was hurt. Just the opposite. When Greenberg asked him for his opinion, in a hypothetical situation, the first thing Miles asked him was if the player was hurt. If he's hurt, Miles said he needs to act in his own best interest. He did not throw Fournette under the bus. Period. Good Lord.

This. Heck, maybe Facebook really did crack down on Fake News so all the liars have migrated to message boards. To be honest though, I usually just assume people that do that kind of stuff are just disgruntled fans of A&M or some school like that.

I heard this interview and he absolutely DID NOT throw Fournette under the bus. I think it's pathetic that you felt the need to come here and lie about it.

He struggled w/ a high ankle sprain all year, so I agree w/ him not playing in the bowl game. However, he should have been there for his team! He could have waited 1 week and then signed w/ his agent. His purchase of the $60ish thousand watch shows he just couldn't wait!
