re: Les taking shots at O on the radio?

It’s easy for miles to say that because he inherited a more talented roster then when he left. Miles was starting to get a lot like Mac Brown And was worried about what his recruiting ranking more than what the holes was in the roster. I wish somebody would ask him why was linebackers and defensive line numbers were so low when he left. The O haters would say O was the recruiting coordinator, but the head coach still makes all the decisions. So them screw ups fall on the head coach

NOBODY was saying this before MSU and Troy. NOBODY. It’s a complete 180 the O pumpers have fabricated to make excuses for him losing those games.

No he isn't wrong. It was time to part ways with Les, but I don't recall him making any excuses for not being ready to play a game or asking fans to be patient and give him a break.
And that includes his first year when the team had to deal with the hurricanes.

O isn't a good coach but neither was Miles. Miles continued the tradition of locking down LA and was a good motivator but was out coached numerous times by other coaches with any sort of football acumen. I did like Miles though and thought he represented our school with class which has a lot of value as well.

Thats why the piece of shite Less requested a higher severance package....because he didnt need a safety net?
what a disingenuous, worthless, bastard.

That's right. Damn near every single poster on the rant claimed for years on end that the only thing stopping LSU from winning championships consistently was Miles being the head coach. And damn near everyone claimed year after year that we were as talented as any team in college football, including Alabama.
At the end of September last year, five games into the season with a 3-2 record and two devastating losses to inferior opponents, then the o-supporters decided to start the excuse of the cupboard being bare and we were void of any talent.
And now we're stuck with o and his bumbling and stumbling and excuse making.

So Les didn’t hire Ed Orgerin to recruit DLinement?
I blows my Mind that people act like Les didn’t actively try and get DL, or didn’t care.
It’s just bullshite excuses for O taking 7 DL and 0 CBS and QBs.

I’m not a O pumper by any means I am a LSU football pumper and I want every football coach to succeed at LSU no matter who it is. for you people to sit there and try to say miles left in the cupboard full and we didn’t have depth issues your just flat out lying

I think O threw shade first by saying to "be patient". Trying to say the last coaching staff left the cupboard bare.

Pick your poison. Miles may have never asked for "patience," but he also never admitted that quarterback play in his system was often weak and ineffectual. To Miles, there was no problem, with the quarterback, with running headlong into the strength of the defense, or actually using the passing game as part of an offensive scheme. Miles was just plain stubborn, refused to change, and the his last few years showed up on the field as retrogressive and self defeating.

Did you forget the season crashes and losses to Arky his last few years?

There is a reason no one has hired Miles since the LSU stint ended.
Something the Miles apologists don’t understand.
It was time for him to go. Plain and simple. He was stuck in the old ways and refused to change.
People only really speak up for Miles when others tear him and his teams down to try to prop up O and make excuses for his bad losses.
Of course it was time for Miles to go and it should have been after the '15 season.

No I didn't. That's why I said "it was time to part ways with Les."
I don't recall mentioning wins and losses in my post. I do recall mentioning that I didn't remembering Les making excuses or asking the fanbase to be patient with his coaching staff and teams.

Les, my friend, there is a safety net because years of your downward trajectory need to be undone

Miles had to go, he refused to modernize the offense and the program was stagnic
Is that like a combination of stagnant and static?

Nope. O campaigned on competing for championships immediately because he knew the talent was there. Now that he blew it last year, he and his loyal followers have changed the narrative.
O gets no safety net aside from winning 10+ regular season games this year.

He did make excuses. Do I need to link all that dumb-frick's post game pressers from the Arky failures?
