LSU fans truly do shite on their own.
When Saban was HC at LSU he used the term "Catastrophe Syndrome" to describe LSU fans. He said he had never seen it anywhere else he had coached.

He was, and still IS, right about that.

Because he recruits the wrong qbs....and yes that's on him. But you can't make a BH a pro style qb no more than you can turn an apple into an orange.

We can certainly agree on that. Definition of insanity. Although I disagree that this is his only fault. He shows the same stubbornness in other aspects as well.

In fairness most if these pathetic fans are kids that THINK they know it all and believe they have some sort of entitlement because LSU is a storied program. Fact is les has over half the top 5 finishes in LSU history.

I don't disagree...I guess I look at the overall picture vs focusing on only the weaknesses. Hey I think its time for a change myself...he seems to have lost the fire.

That's a non biased prediction from people who actually know what they're taking about and look at things objectively. This is the rant. That type of info doesn't count. Lol.

Dude stop the bs. The point was made because apparently outsiders that make their living with this stuff don't see the doom and gloom like you guys that are suppose to be fans.

You're right, objectively speaking we have the talent to make a run next. Looking subjectively at our coaching staff, we won't get it done.

Did you really just talk about the discipline doled out by Pete Carroll and Urban?

are you suggesting that if we don't pick up 4 yards or more on a running play its due to bad execution? because that is the only point I am making...now please elaborate on how I am wrong

I'll go a different route and say football is as much about deception as execution (you need both). Same goes for war.

You can bring the mostest to the point of attack in either, without having the mostest, with deception.

It's not new. What was the deal with the Notre Dame box? deception. Malzahn just runs an updated version.

Why are there so many procedural rules such as # of men in backfield and jersey numbers? To limit the ways you can deceive an opponent.

Today we call this setting the play up. Why do most teams do this, for advantage at the point of attack. It's integral to good execution. It's not outside or another subject entirely, it's part of execution.

Meanwhile he now coaches for a fanbase the threw a brick through Billy Curry's living room window when he was coach there....keep telling yourself that LSU fans are bad so you can feel good about your self.

I'm 51 I don't know about you. If 51 puts me in the kid category fine. Why do you pumpers act like any critical analysis of Les has to be from kids? Do you realize how dumb you sound? Its a message board. People like to give their opinions. Stop acting like your insight is above all else.

I am assuming that you favor Les calling out their names in the press and embarrassing them in public.

This is always a good motivator. Amirite?

no, I think the way he did it was tasteful. Much better than Dabo Swinney, who eneters the CFP as the #1 seed calling out his punter during a halftime interview.

I don't know how you got that from my post at all that I think players need to be embarrassed.

Speaking as a "positiger" or pro Miles supporter, I must say the quote from him was very disappointing and discouraging.
I guess he really doesn't get it. Dinardo's stubbornness with the defensive ineptness of Lou Tepper lead to his dismissal. Sadly, it seems the same will be true of Les. At least we got Nick Saban out of the Dinardo firing. Maybe there is another young Saban out there for LSU.
