hmm...4 soph's, 2 juniors and one senior...with the exception of T.Tollivers lack of perf. There is no telling what the outcome of the others will be.

Jordan Jefferson was the #8 ranked pro style QB in 2008 on rivals.

His recruiting is the single best argument in his favor right now IMO

Jamarcus Russell was the #1 overall NFL draft choice. Sometimes, players do not pan out. Sometimes the position coach stinks.

I am simply saying that when one says "LSU does not coach up its players" it is inaccurate and an insult to those that are playing incredibly well.

Had the comment been "LSU has squandered the Offensive talent because the QB position has been bungled (either by evaluation or coaching), i'd have no issue.

Les and his staff recruit their asses off.

Thank God for that. Imagine how terrible we would be on offense with less than 4 and 5 star players being coached by Crowton and Miles.

just saying i'd rather praise a guy for maximizing talent on the field rather than just for landing guys with stars by their names. the defensive side has been great. getting the most out of the offensive talent leaves a lot to be desired.

Ridley leads the SEC in rushing. The others are at the mercy of the QB production, no?

Randle AND Toliver had better games with Lee in there. And, Lee is better than JJ. But, he is not great.

Although that's extreme, I don't think I agree with that. May I present to you Mack Brown............

a juggernaut that can not recruit the most important position to save his life

lol

a juggernaut that is an "o line guru" yet can't get a solid o line on the field made out of his recruits, 5+ years into his tenure

lol x 2

No you wouldn't. That's like saying you didn't want a NC in 2007. You just hate Miles.

What lil brothers does he have at QB for this year?

By not allowing JJ to pass, and not allowing JL to play, and moving RS to QB, and running Chris Garret off, and signing a recruit with a major league arm, Miles is basically saying, hey this isn't my fault I don't have any QBs. What's a feller supposed to do?

But it is your fault.

So then JJ should be our passing QB and Lee should be our runner? You want JJ to get more passes yet you want JL to play more. JJ's passing has not been good man.

and moving RS to QB

RS was promised a chance at QB. Miles just kept his word.

quote:

running Chris Garret off

He wasn't going to save us. We don't need a quantity of QB's, we need a quality.

signing a recruit with a major league arm

Lee was expected to stay at LSU. How is this Miles' fault?

Miles is basically saying, hey this isn't my fault I don't have any QBs

When did he say this or anything close to it?

Just use a little common sense before you post. We have a great recruiting class coming in and are working on the QB issue with one committed and possibly two more to come. With a new OC and a capable QB we will be very good.
