The number of likely NFL contributors from the 15 roster seems best ever at LSU. I agree with CLM.

with all the talent at WR I would add a lot more spread offens

No need for spread. Just go 4-5 wr out of the gun. We should see multiple 4 wr sets With Harris in the gun. He should be able to execute these formations.

I agree. It could open up the running game tremendously.

But i wont hold my breath on that one.

When most people on here say the spread they really mean 3 wide spread the defense and no that 1 wide stacked formation bs

He must have forgotten about 2013..

We had 2 guys in 2013. This is the deepest and most talented group of WRs since 2006 or 2007.

Hold on maybe not at this moment, but you forget they weren't the dominant players they were until their junior years. Beckham was inconsistent as a sophomore dropping several passes. Landry also had a drop problem, not as bad as Beckham, but still there. I mean look at Amari Cooper. Look what he did after Julio Jones dominated for Alabama.

Dupre has the talent to explode and should put up big numbers this year (bigger than both Landry and Beckham as sophomores).

I'm pretty sure that Miles is referring to the depth and balance of the group. I know we are looking at potential with a lot of our WRs, but you have to admit this is the most quality depth that we've had in years. If everyone gets close to their realistic potential, then it's likely best group of receivers in school history.

All I want to know is, can they run after they catch a five yard pass? Cause besides the occasional long ball, five yard pass plays is all I expect.

You sound dumb. Have you not watched LSU under Cam Cameron?he teaches a vertical passing game designed to pick up big yards with minimal attempts.

He just named more than 2 wrs so I would imagine he is talking about how deep they are at wr. The quality of the 5th or 6th guy will still be an every down SEC caliber guy as opposed to 2013 when we had basically 4 players on the entire offense.

It could well be true. This is not about whether or not the WR is better than OBJ and Landry. He's saying he has the most talented players on his roster now versus any group including that when OBJ and Landry played. The WR corps of 2013 was made up more than just OBJ and Landry. They were just to two most talented receivers in that corps and would have been in this corps. But, they, themselves did not make up the entire WR corps of 2013.

No need. Chi is better than Jarvis or OBJ. If you can't see that I can't help you. Let's start with this: do you believe AJ Greene was better than those two in college. Chi is the equal of AJG.

When Shaq was at LSU I said he'd be a HOF NBA center. I had people tell me "pump the brakes". Malachi Dupree will be an NFL All Star and probably a HOFer.

I'm over here just salivating at the thought of a spread 2 back formation with Dural, Dupre, one of Quinn/Diarse/Chalk, Fournette, & Guice on the field at the same time

I don't think anybody is worried too much about LSUs WRs. They should be fine to excellent as a group. Last year at this point, Dural had limited snaps and 7 career catches and the rest had zero because they hadn't had any snaps before. I'll repeat...zero and 7 total. None of them did too well with press coverage, but if they have improved on that and I assume they have, the sky is the limit for the group. Add in DJ, Johnson, Jazz, Dillon, and sometimes Jackson perhaps,
