yea, let's relax a bit. Les underachieved his last 3+ years. It was time for him to go.

It was time to revaluate after the 2016 season and at least fire Cameron. But the way Alleva handled it was shameful.

Zero percent because we already have the best OC in the country.

Right?

I have no doubt that he will go to Kansas and run a wide open, high powered offense that he refused to even try here.

I wouldn't go THAT far, but I have to believe that getting fired four games into a season for stubbornness, and then sitting out two more years has had an affect on his outlook.

Heck, remember when everyone was telling us that O was a disaster waiting to happen because of his record at Ole Piss? There's no reason to think that Les won't do the one thing he didn't do for us and get a good, modern OC in place.

In fact, he'll HAVE to do that because that's the DNA of the Big12. All offense, all day, erry day. Defense optional. Anything else and he won't last long enough in Lawrence to get drunk on Mass Street after a game.

People can learn, and I sincerely hope that Les does well at KU. If nothing else, maybe he can be DA MAN and get them playing well enough to go scorched-earth on Oklahoma every year.

I’d watch Kansas football for Les. I’m pretty sure he could recruit some talent to win games. I hope he knows to field a competent offense in the Big 12 now.. all offense no defense lulz.

KU has some decent skill players. Their lines are awful. Les can fix that pretty quickly.

but why would anyone want to coach football at Kansas?

Ever since the human earthquake Mangino got the boot, Jayhawk fans have been moaning about the loss of a good football team and dreaming about a resurgence - especially since their cross-border rivals Mizzou jumped ship to the SEC and aren't doing half-bad in football at the adult's table.

Trust me, that's a school in the Big12 that's ripe for takeoff, given the right coach. And the fanbase would go NUTS if he could just get them out of the cellar for a couple of years in a row.

I don’t have sauces like that unfortunately. I just know info in the situation at KU because my best friend is at school there and a few other kids I know there are sons of donors. My friend was also the one that saw him on campus conforming he was in Lawrence. However, I think it’s pretty obvious that E needs to step down and get baby Briles down to BR

Just like he had at Oklahoma State when he was the only coach that could beat Bob Stoops at OU.

Not the way he went. The man deserved better.

We owed him better.

I bet some of you remember that Kansas was ranked number 1 or 2 in the nation. Forgot the qbs name but he was good... Same year that mizzou was in the top 5 as well

you're right. he should have been given the chance to coach out the regular season. that way orgeron would have never been hired.
