frick that shite! this fool has twice pulled this contract shite and the AD has fallen. bamma was desperate to keep saban. i guarantee his statue will mysteriously be stolen of have to come down when he bolts before retiring. statues are for legends. a couple of conf titles and a natty dont call for a statue. if thats the case meyer, stoops, carrol and many more should own stock in those schools. i always said tht i cant dislike him as a man but now i can. but he's only doing "american" business! but i hate him as the guy with deep interest for the football program and ultimately the school.

Rumor has it that Ark. And Michigan have offered to build (12 ft and 14 ft, respectively) statues of Les if we do not.
Alleva is unavailable for comment having departed for a tour of foundaries in Europe,

Actaully Alleva will come out and say it has been in the works for quite a while now and this rumor that was started only sped up the design and process of building the statue by a few months. But it was always my intentions to do it after the chick fil a bowl

If Les Miles coaches another 5-10 years here, averaging 9-10 wins a year with another national title and a couple more SEC titles, he gets a statute.

He would be the best coach BY FAR in the history of LSU. That would be a tenure that nobody would ever be likely to top.

Agreed.

I would probably qualify as a sunshine pumper, and even I would say a statue (if really planned) is a dumb idea.

No statues of current coaches. When he retires, it's fine.

they should build a Les Miles statue during the off season, would help recruiting, plus he deserves one, but nothing ostentatious. After he retires, then really build a monument to him.
