Les Miles (seemingly) rips Ed Orgeron after asking for LSU fans’ patience

NBS Sports - Les MIles “I never accepted the feeling of, ‘Hey, you need to have patience.’ When you say you need to have patience aren’t you just really saying to your team you’re not good enough,” Miles said, via The Advocate. “Because I want you to know something, I never took the field with the Tigers where I didn’t think I wasn’t going to absolutely kick somebody’s tail … Period … I never asked, ‘Hey, give me a break here.'”
NBC Sports - For the record, Orgeron asked for fans’ patience… in the spring game. LSU is working in a new offensive coordinator in Steve Ensminger and running an open competition between three quarterbacks.
Miles then said this, unprompted: “Certain people need to have a safety net. If you need a safety net you need not coach for the Tigers because the Tigers are your safety net. They are the winningest, toughest, most committed group of men that I have been around.”

cMiles is looking for a job coaching. He is uncomfortable at best not being on the field. All that frustration is likely influencing his Milesisms on this matter.
One truth I will try to being out somewhat diplomatically: Coach Miles seems to have had difficulty during his last year or two at LSU in replacing great players that were moving on to the NFL. There was not a strong depth behind many.
With the great recruiting by Coach O and his staff, they have been building the depth. That will start paying off this season and forward.

Orgeron, in case he does not know, will get no patience and has NO safety net!!
But Miles has no business commentingvin that manner as long as he is in payroll

Easy for Leslie to say. Saban left a stacked roster. Miles left a fairly depleted roster. Left some big names but below that was average/mediocre players. O had to build it back, especially the lines, of course. I guess uber patience was the root problem of Leslie's clock mismanagement.

Should’ve stayed the frick away from the offense and he’d still have a job.
There’s a reason he’s still unemployed

O is trying to build a strong passing game. Les Miles stopped trying to do so a long time ago. It is needed in the SEC.

When addressing the fans of one of the most legendary, successful and prominent football programs in American history, requesting patience regarding the outcomes of that program is basically a mortal sin, a program as legendary as LSU SHOULD ANNUALLY pursue SEC and national championships at the highest level no excuses and never accept mediocrity

Imagine Saban’s replacement requesting patience.
However, didn’t Miles ask for a safety net, after his running offense could no longer produced results?
