Les would have ran the ball 12 strait times and the pats would have went up 28-24 with under a minute left

Les Miles would run the ball in all situations! Terrible comparison

I think every coach runs the ball in that situation... Except for Carroll

Naw, not nearly every coach. Watch the UGA game earlier this year. The UGA fans are still pissed about that one. You are at the 4 yard line with Todd Gurley as your RB, guess what they do???

This happens in a good bit of situations. It was only amplified by the fact that it was the Super Bowl.

The point is both those coaches made mistakes that could have cost their team. Carroll's cost his. You guys get so hung up on Les miles. Watch other teams play and you see great coaches making similar mistakes. If the pats lose, it would have been about belichiks clock mismanagement.

This exactly. Saban himself makes a ton of bone headed decisions. All coaches do it. Miles' is blown out of proportion because it's our team.

Same situation against bama that year, we ran it, the clowns screamed why didn't we throw it when we had Mett.

Not even close to the same situations. It was 3rd and 2 against Clemson. Run the ball and you probably pick up the 1st. It was about 3rd and 8 against Alabama. You're not picking up 8 on the ground against Alabama. You have to throw it.

But thanks for trying.

I vaguely remember OT and passing to the endzone and not running the ball.

It was 3rd and 8 against Bama, and we had been absolutely dominating them through the air.

So it isn't close to the same situation at all.

Second and 2, needed on more first down to milk the clock away, we passed 2 straight downs instead of handing to Jeremy Hill.

Seriously? 2nd and 2 = 3rd and 8?

Y'all miss the Ole Miss game this year?

You mean when we ran the perfect play on 2nd and 3, not 2nd and 1, that was very safe?

PA roll out jennings with a single route and the option to make a safe throw, throw it out the endzone, or maybe run it in.

Would have been much better than that.

No doubt Les would run it. The problem would have been les would also have run the ball all the plays in that drive so the goal line situation wouldn't be an issue anyway.

Notre Dame prior to half. We should have pounded that one in. Instead, well, be remind, why mention reality.

Well Miles would have still been on the other side of the 50 so it wouldn't matter.
