about how much he cares about his players.

There is nothing wrong and everything right about what he said tonight in response to the articles about Shepard lately.

He was obviously trying to suppress rage. He was pissed at a reporter for crapping on an otherwise special day for R. Shepard. In his rage, he realized he was detracting the positive attention that should have gone to his seniors on their night. I don't fault him one bit for rambling a bit.

Amen.
I once saw an interview in which a reporter said something derogatory about a Florida player, & Urban Meyer just flat told the reporter: "If that was MY son, we'd be going at it right now!" My opinion of Meyer dramatically improved after I heard him stand up for the kid that way. Whatever a parent of a recruit might think of Miles or Meyer as a football mind, you can't ask for much more that this in a guy who's going to mentor your kid.

I just watched Bill Snyder say his team losing was his fault and remembered that the coach that lost last week to Texas A&M said his players were told what to do and didn't do it. Give me the CLM's and Snyders of the profession.

Did Snyder really call out Saban like that?

No one will ever be able to say he doesn't love his kids.

I'm sure Bo was proud, and saw a student and peer.

Bravo to Miles for having his players' backs.

No doubt, the guy can be nuttier than squirrel shite but it is very obvious he is a great man and loves his team. I can't fault him for that.

A leader is defined as someone that people will follow not because they have to, but because they want to. This video proves beyond a shadow of doubt why Les Miles continue to recruit great players. Les MIles was defending his LSU senior class players in this press conference tonight. One fact that cannot be debated, Les will go to bat for his players through thick and then. And most importantly, these players will play hard for him, not because they have to but because they want to.

Weak try Bamachick - bloody hate these subtle troll attempts at giving backhanded compliments.

If you admire something, then say so. Don't try these Gumptard methods of trying to couch an obvious put down flame as a compliment in a positive thread about another team's coach.
