for the love of Christ, JJ does NOT have an understanding of the offense
it hasn't even been our offense in the past, how can he have an understanding of it?

Could you imagine the look on mett's face when JJ is trying to teach mett the offense?

It's the same offense. Luckily, because we had way too many plays and way too many formations, Krags can take our old offense and cut off all the fat into something he likes without having to install a whole new offense. He's streamlining it.

I think this is in the best interest of the team to use the same terminology and most of the formations. Just having someone who thinks 3 plays ahead by setting up one play off of another play that we had previously run is a big part of what this offense needed.

Not just the playbook; think about the timing and chemistry developed with these players. He threw 2 Td's in practice. Let's not give him the heisman just yet
Yeah seriously.. and isn't the next paragraph about how JJ had as many TD's?? 2 is not > 2.. I don't see how anyone could fault Les for starting JJ at this point. They are pretty equal.. Just cause you have a yearning for 50 yard TD passes does not mean Mett is the better option..

If we get into a situation like last year though, where we need someone to bail us out, I'd imagine that would be Mett.
Thats quite an imagination you have. I think you meant to say that you hope that it's Mett. Don't confuse what you would like to see with what is most likely to happen. Lee has been in a lot of tight situations in his career and last year, he delivered in clutch situations. Why would you turn to Mett, who is unproven over a guy like Lee in a tight situation?? I just dont get it.

Good God I never thought this thread would go on for so long..
a) gibberish
b) false information
c) Rantards arguing with themselves.
Bottom line, JJ IS the starting QB whether you like it or not. Until someone comes along and unseats him, he's it. And there will still be 500 threads over the summer arguing who the starting QB will be...all useless, all a colossal waste of time.
Mett has the opportunity to unseat him, IF he can learn the offense and gel with his teammates. What's so hard to understand about this? J Lee will NOT and will never be LSU's starting QB. He will get to play some but that's about it.
